The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to head next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to travel to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
